Vision:
A model rehabilitation institution, an active agent of change towards positive moral values
Mission:
To guide, nurture and empower youth-at-risk towards becoming responsible and contributing member of their family, the community and country.
Objectives:
Established on 27 December 1989 with an initial intake of 27 children, MWH presently takes care of 70 boys and youths referred to us by the Courts, other government organizations and individuals, needing care and guidance. Working closely with the Government and other social service institutions, we strive to give these boys and youths another chance to make something significant of their lives.
Activities:
Education, Couselling and Casework Management, Enrichment, Welfare and Sports, Nurture and Value-based Campaigns
Beneficiaries:
The Home provides shelter, care and protection to boys and youths aged between 10 years and 19 years. Our boys come from various disadvantaged backgrounds – abused neglected, beyond parental control, delinquent as well as orphaned.
